Terms and conditions
This page is a courtesy translation; the Italian version is the reference in case of doubt.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms govern the use of AutobusGO, the site and app for searching local bus timetables in several Italian regions. By using the service you accept them; if you disagree, please do not use it.
Who provides the service
AutobusGO is a personal, independent project by Andrea Porcu (info@autobusgo.com). It is not an official service and has no connection with the public transport companies whose data it shows, nor with the regions or other bodies that regulate them.
The service
AutobusGO lets you search for direct buses between two stops or places, see nearby stops, and share timetables. It is free, requires no registration and does not sell tickets: for tickets, passes, notices and complaints you must contact the relevant operator directly (see the data sources).
Where the timetables come from
Timetables are built from the open data (GTFS, in some cases converted from NeTEx) published by each regional public transport operator and are checked every day. The full list of regions covered and the operators the data comes from is on the Data sources page. AutobusGO reorganises them to make them easier to browse (for example by merging nearby stops or calculating walking legs), but does not change their content.
No guarantee of accuracy
We do our best to keep the information correct, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date. In particular:
- data published by individual operators may contain errors or lag behind real changes;
- the site shows scheduled times, not the real position of vehicles: delays, strikes, diversions and cancelled trips are not shown;
- walking distances and times are estimates, computed from the straight-line distance with an allowance for roads: the real route may be longer, shorter, or not walkable at all.
Before you travel, especially for important trips, always check the official channels of the relevant operator, listed on the Data sources page.
Liability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuity: it may be interrupted, changed or suspended at any time, even without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for damages arising from the use of the service or from relying on the information shown, such as missed buses, delays or expenses incurred. Cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and the rights the law grants to consumers, remain unaffected.
Acceptable use
By using AutobusGO you agree not to:
- use it for unlawful purposes or in a way that damages it or slows it down for others;
- query it automatically and in bulk (for example with programs that download the data en masse): the original data is available directly from the operators listed on the Data sources page;
- present it as an official service of one of the operators or of any other body.
Trademarks and content
The names and trademarks of the transport companies mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the source of the data (full list on the Data sources page). The AutobusGO name, logo, graphics and text belong to Andrea Porcu. You are free to share the links and timetables you find, for example on WhatsApp.
External links
The site contains links to third-party services (the transport operators listed on the Data sources page, WhatsApp and others), which have their own terms and privacy rules. AutobusGO does not control their content and is not responsible for it.
Privacy
How data is processed is explained in the privacy notice and the cookie page.
Changes
These terms may be updated, for example when the service changes. The date above shows the latest change; by continuing to use AutobusGO you accept the version in force.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with a consumer, the competent court is that of the place where the consumer resides.
